Reisterstown
Serving the Children of the World

Commitment

The Kiwanis club is organized around a core membership of select service-minded men and women who reflect the community profile.  Meeting at a Christian church does not mean our membership is restricted.  Kiwanis is open to all faiths, nationalities and races.  Kiwanis serves the children of the world.  Would you like to join us?  Visitors are welcome anytime.

Kiwanians, on the average, invest about six hours a month by participating in club meetings and volunteering in their community.  There are no attendance requirements, but active participation is encouraged.  The Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall of the Reisterstown United Methodist Church, 246 Main Street, Reisterstown, MD.

The cost is dues for the administration of the club and support of its members.  In addition, there is a meal charge which helps support the 5 Circles of the United Methodist Women.

The Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown is a “Service Club” whose success depends upon its member’s participation and leadership in serving the needs of our community.  One’s acceptance of an invitation to membership should be on this basis.

In our community, we are unified in our belief that children and their communities benefit from the efforts of a proficient group of caring and involved volunteers.
